The hall is the first community building in the South East to use integrated renewable energy from three sources – ground source, wind and solar.
The ground source heat and a wind turbine combine to provide underfloor heating. Hot water is provided by solar panels. These together ensure the Hall has a low carbon footprint and has little impact on the environment in which it sits. It also ensures that the Hall is always well heated and has a constant source of reliable and cost effective hot water.
The Hall is easily accessible by public transport and, located in the centre of Cooksbridge village, enables local residents to walk to its grounds safely and easily on a recently constructed footpath alongside Beechwood Lane.
