Playground and Park

Tucked under the South Downs near Lewes, with outstanding views towards Black Cap and Ditchling Beacon, Beechwood Hall’s four-acre rural park offers something for everyone. There is a children’s play area for younger children and plenty of room for fun and games such as table tennis or football. Plans are in hand to provide exciting new play equipment early in 2018. The park also offers a welcome rest point for ramblers on their way to or from the Downs or a peaceful place to sit, reflect and watch the sun set behind the hills.

The Hall and Park play host to the Village and local school events and is the perfect place for community gathering.

If the hall is hired for a wedding weekend booking a marquee may be erected in the public park adjacent to the hall , but hirers should be aware that the park remains open to the public. Please speak to the Bookings Manager about this option.
