A sustainable venue
The hall is the first community building in the South East to use integrated renewable energy from three sources – ground source, wind, and solar power.
The ground source heat and a wind turbine combine to provide underfloor heating, while hot water is provided by solar panels. These measures help the hall maintain a low carbon footprint and the smallest possible impact on the environment in which it sits. It also ensures that the hall is always well heated and has a constant source of reliable and cost-effective hot water.
Our car park is equipped with an EV charging point to encourage use of electric vehicles.
